OFFICIAL AFTERMOVIE 2017
Dario Darnell or better known as Youngr, has millions of YouTube views and dedicated fans all over the world. Youngr put out his first single proper 'Out of my System' in the summer of 2016 and released his rework of Temper Trap’s Sweet Disposition alongside it. These two together very quickly made waves way beyond the substantial YouTube following he'd already built. His version of Sweet Disposition racked up no less than 15 million plays online in just a few weeks, and Radio 1 and Spotify both jumped on board with enthusiastic support for 'Out of my System’.
Their sound, which they self-describe as “Super House” has become its very own genre built from their soul and passion. Andhim’s unique sound, party proven and of reduced nature, is organic with an emphasis in the finer detail. The boys grassroots flow from Hip-Hop, and they work mainly with samples which makes their tracks one of a kind. This individuality has earned them a home with Labels such as Monaberry, Terminal M or Sunset Handjob.
Pomo is a Canadian multi-instrumentalist and producer based in Vancouver who makes electronic beats influenced by hip-hop, house, 70s and 80s funk music. He grew up in Port Moody, British Colombia and cultivated his tastes and sound through the Vancouver electronic music scene before moving for a time to Montreal and joining the likes of Kaytranada, Ta-Ku, and Stwo on the HW&W roster.
Miguel & Chik Hernandez AKA Hernandez Brothers are a drum and percussion duo hailing from Metro Manila. The serve live beats which is a fusion of rock, hip-hop, world, latin, and reggae using traditional drums, congas, and percussion instruments. Their combo has played various shows around the metro from art galleries to clubs, from hostel rooftops to street parties.
Tucked in between melanoid beats, spectra; grace and kindled vocal melodies lie Singaporean indie-electronic duo .gif. Made up of weish (vocals, synths) and din (synths, beats, production), the pair initially established themselves in 2012 as a passion project designed to explore their boundaries on both personal and artistic levels. Almost instantly though, their music struck a chord with the native populace. Their chimerical sound wasn’t silly fresh, it proved to be so compelling that the dup began filling a void of their own making within the Singaporean music scene
