CHRISTMAS COMES TO QUAYSIDE
Singapore’s hottest new riverfront dining destination, The Quayside, will be kicking off the Christmas season in style.
Enjoy a long al-fresco Sunday afternoon with rosé and cocktails to the soundtrack of laidback beats. As the sun sets, the promenade and river will glow with Christmas lights as the entertainment continues late into the evening.
Guests who spend more than $100 SGD with MasterCard at any restaurant or Christmas Stall, will be entered into a prize to win a trip to Bali.
Boutique artisanal chocolates to homemade candles, classic Italian gourmet gifts to traditional mince pies – an eclectic mix of market stalls will ignite character and cheer to The Quayside walkway with a selection of gourmet and homegrown Christmas gifts.
A line up of Singapore’s acclaimed musicians and DJs will take to The Quayside stage. Veteran Jazz singer Zora will bring her smooth vocals, New Stream Brass Band will rove the promenade and headliners The Steve McQueens will bring their signature Soul Funk vibes to the backdrop of the sun setting on The Quayside. Local hero DJ Sivanesh b2b Mack will close the day with chilled out electro sounds.

RASA FIESTA SINGAPURA BLOCK PARTY
The celebration of the Caribbean and South American lifestyle and culture will culminate in a street festival on Jiak Chuan Road on Saturday, 15 July 2017, where revellers can partake in a day’s worth of entertainment, feasting, and drinking.
Jiak Chuan Road is transformed into a bustling and colourful Tiki Festival filled with music, bright lights, and dance parties. Lime House will dish out tropical concoctions in roadside booths. With artisanal booths and craft stalls decorated in a Caribbean set-up, expect delicious street food by establishments such as Señor Taco, salsa performances, tattoo artists, and workshops by brand ambassadors, and for the rum aficionados, private tastings and sales of rare rums will be held on the second floor of Lime House.
RUM HOPPING AROUND SINGAPORE
Rum enthusiasts rejoice! Drink your way through the RFS Map and discover each culture via a themed atmosphere. Head to Sugarhall, Vasco, Potato Head, Bread Street Kitchen, and Lime House (from 10 – 14 July 2017) for a specialty cocktail and that'll get you a stamp on the RFS Map! Once the map is completed with five stamps, guests can redeem prizes including coupons, tiki mugs and a one-night staycation in the Executive Room of Swissotel Merchant Court* at the Street Festival on Saturday.
2 Jiak Chuan Road
Set in a heritage four-storey shophouse on Jiak Chuan Road in Chinatown’s Keong Siak belt, Lime House opened its doors in 2013 and introduced the Caribbean concept of “liming”, which means hanging out with friends. It is a mecca of gatherings, making connections and collaborating, authoritatively housing not only good vibes but new friends and a passion for all things Caribbean.
36 Keong Saik Road
Potato Head Singapore has the intimate feel of a private house; the first floor is the kitchen – the dynamic burger restaurant Three Buns; the second its living room – a relaxed restaurant with table service; the third its private studio – a decadent drinking den; and the rooftop its garden – a tropical open-air bar. The different rooms of the house are a haven in the heart of the city, a retreat for Singapore’s creative crowd from the arts, fashion, film, music and design worlds.
The Shoppes At Marina Bay Sands
Sophistication meets casual dining at Bread Street Kitchen, where vintage blends with modern, and the music is as eclectic as the décor. Located at the vibrant spot by the waterfront, the al fresco bar serves well-known classics, innovative cocktails, as well as a large collection of world wines. Bread Street Kitchen is about fun, tapping into the culture; more than anything, coming into a relaxed environment.
102 Amoy Street
Sugarhall features unconventional beats of Jamaican Reggae & old-school ska, lightbulbs in mason jars suspended by hemp ropes with a wood-clad interior evoking a rustic ambience. Bartenders are dressed in checks and nothing says modern barnyard more than Sugarhall - the lates entrant to Amoy Street’s bar scene.
42 Hong Kong Street
Singapore’s first Latin American bar and open kitchen. With a vibrant and colorful atmosphere, right in the heart of the central business district. Vasco holds Latin culture with a well-executed menu displaying a fusion of street food and killer cocktails. The ambience of Vasco also lends itself to the unique décor and the romantic hospitality.
